Useful information, not surveillance.

BobCommander is free to download and use without an account. It does not need your name, email address, or payment details to work. The product and this portal use only the limited, optional measurement described below.

Download portal

Downloads are counted without identifying visitors.

The portal records one server-side event when it finishes serving a release package. The event contains only the release version, channel, package name, package type, and byte size. It contains no browser identifier, cookie, account, or address field.

  • Necessary preferencebobcommander.consent is stored locally so the consent banner is not shown again. It contains no identifier and is not sent to us.
  • Anonymous package countCompleted MSI, MSIX, App Installer, and portable ZIP responses are counted in Azure Application Insights. Page requests, failed transfers, and HEAD checks are not download events.
  • Google Analytics 4After consent, it measures page use with advertising purposes denied. Rejecting or ignoring the banner means the Google tag is not loaded.
  • Control stays with youUse the cookie preferences control on the home page to change your choice. A Global Privacy Control signal is treated as a rejection.
